Got called out for my coolant mix being way off
An old head at the shop in Toledo watched me fill the tank and just said 'kid, you're running it like weak tea.' He showed me his mix ratio was 1 part coolant to 12 parts water, not the 1 to 20 I was doing. I changed it that day and my finish on 6061 aluminum got way better, no more built-up edge. Anyone else have a simple fix that made a huge difference?

Doubt it makes that big a difference for most jobs.

It really depends on the role. Good tools can cut down on daily annoyances and let you focus on the actual work. What kind of job are you thinking of?
