Shoutout to the old timer who called me out on my coolant mix
I was running my Haas at 7% for years, thinking it was fine. He saw my parts and said 'Kid, you're making rust soup, not cutting fluid.' I switched to 10% and the finish is way better now. Anyone else get stubborn about a simple setting for way too long?

My dad still uses the wrong tire pressure.

What pressure does he think is right, and what's actually on the door sticker?

Know the feeling all too well. Ran my old Bridgeport with the same dull endmill for months, blaming everything but the tool. A guy at the supply house finally asked when I last changed it, and I had no good answer. Swapped it out and the chatter just vanished. Sometimes you just need that outside eye to spot the simple fix you're blind to.
