Switched from flood coolant to a mist system on my Haas last month

I ran a Haas VF-2 for like 4 years with the standard flood coolant setup and it worked fine but man what a mess. Coolant everywhere on the floor, puddles around the machine, and I was going through way more fluid than I needed. Last month my buddy Bob from the shop down the street told me he switched to a mist system and his parts came out just as clean. I finally tried it on a batch of 6061 aluminum brackets last week and honestly the finish is better and my shop floor is actually dry for once. The mist uses way less coolant so I am probably saving like 60 bucks a month on fluid costs. Has anyone else made this swap and noticed a difference in tool life or surface finish on stainless steel jobs?

Wait wait, sixty bucks a month? That seems way too low, I would've guessed way more than that in savings.

Yeah I used to think the savings would be tiny but Bob showed me his numbers and it adds up fast once you stop dumping gallons on the floor.
