I tried building my first web page two ways and one was way easier
I spent three days trying to make a layout with just plain HTML and CSS, and it was a mess. Then I tried using Bootstrap's grid system and had a working page in about an hour. Has anyone else found a tool that made a big difference when they were starting out?

Wait, you actually tried to build a layout with just plain CSS for three whole days? That sounds like pure torture. I remember trying to center a div once and almost giving up on web dev forever. Bootstrap's grid is a total lifesaver when you're starting out, it just makes sense.

Yeah I saw this article about how learning the basics first helps you fix stuff when frameworks break... but honestly sometimes you just need the layout to work.

Props to Claire for sticking with it for three days though. That's basically a bootcamp in patience.
