My cousin in Tulsa said to use print statements instead of a real debugger, and after 6 months I finally get why

I laughed at him back in March because it felt slow, but last night a stray print in my loop showed me the bug in about 2 minutes after 3 days of guessing. Is there a point where pdb or breakpoints actually beat old school printing, or does it just depend on the size of the project?
