Showerthought: I saw a kid at the library in Austin trying to learn Python from a 500-page book from 2008.
I mean, that's just setting them up to hate coding before they even start, because the tools and best practices have changed so much since then, right?

My first Python book was so old it taught me to use print without parentheses.

From 2008" is the part that got me lol. That's like learning to drive from a manual that still talks about cassette players. Half the stuff in there probably doesn't even work the same way now.
