Spent 3 hours debugging a missing semicolon last night and wanted to throw my laptop

I was working on a basic JavaScript project last week, just a simple calculator app from a tutorial. Three hours of staring at it, checking every line, and it turned out I missed one semicolon on line 47. My buddy from the local coding meetup in Denver called me out for not using a linter, lol. Has anyone else spent way too long on something this dumb?

That missing semicolon thing reminds me of how I always lose my keys when I'm already running late.

Put a hook by the door and never set them anywhere else.
