The coffee shop WiFi made me realize I never learned to read errors
Went to that new place on 5th street last Tuesday to work on my Python project. Their router kept kicking me off every 15 minutes, and while I was waiting to reconnect, I stared at my terminal. There it was, the same NameError I'd seen 40 times before. I finally googled it instead of just guessing. Turns out I was assigning a variable before defining it, real rookie stuff. I've been coding for 8 months now and I never actually read the error messages, I just pasted them into ChatGPT. Has anyone else been guilty of that? How do you force yourself to slow down and actually parse what the traceback is saying?
