Three hours to find a missing bracket in my forms

I spent last Tuesday night chasing a syntax error in a basic HTML form, turned out I forgot one closing bracket on line 87. My browser just showed a blank page, no error message, nothing to point me in the right direction. Has anyone else lost a whole evening to a typo that simple, or is it just me and my bad eyes?
