Tried the 'learn Python in 30 days' plan and crashed hard by day 8
Last month I thought I could power through a 3-hour coding lesson every night after work, but by week two my brain turned to mush and I couldn't even remember how to print 'hello world' - has anyone else found a slower pace that actually sticks better?

Did you see that study they did on adult learning where they showed that people who cram too much information actually forget it faster than people who learn in smaller chunks? I read somewhere that your brain needs time to build new connections, and trying to stuff everything in at once kind of breaks the process. I started learning guitar the same way you did with Python... went hard for a week and then couldn't even remember basic chords. Now I do 20 minutes a day max, with lots of repetition of the same stuff, and it actually sticks way better. Maybe try cutting back to like 30-45 minutes of focused learning with lots of practice on the same thing instead of rushing through a whole lesson plan. Slow and steady really does beat crashing and burning.
