I finally nailed my espresso shot after messing up 7 in a row
I was at home last Saturday morning, trying to pull a decent shot on my Gaggia Classic. I kept getting sour espresso no matter what I did, and I was about to give up. Turns out I was grinding too coarse and my water temp was dropping too fast. I dialed the grinder finer and did a longer pre-infusion, and the third attempt after that came out perfect. It was a small win, but it made my whole weekend. Has anyone else had a similar issue where you think the grind is fine but it's actually way off?

Seven shots is brutal. Did you actually waste that much good coffee?
