Milk frother exploded on me during a livestream demo

I was doing a home brewing demo for my local coffee club on Zoom last Tuesday and the cheap frother I borrowed from my roommate shot hot milk all over my laptop. Had to pause the whole thing to clean up, but honestly it killed my confidence in recommending budget gear. Anyone else had a gadget fail at the worst possible moment?

Damn that sucks, hot milk all over your laptop sounds like a total nightmare. Tbh I've had a cheap gadget die mid-demo too and it makes you feel like a total clown in front of everyone. Good on you for rolling with it, at least now you got a story for the coffee club.
