Can we talk about how I was reading comics wrong for years?

I always just looked at the pictures and skimmed the words. My friend in Chicago saw me do it and said, 'You're missing half the story, man.' So I tried reading a single issue of 'Saga' slowly, panel by panel. The art and text actually work together to build the scene. Blew my mind. Anyone else have a moment like that?

What specific part of Saga made it click for you? Was it a certain page where the art and dialogue locked together in a way you couldn't ignore?

Honestly, I've always felt like there's no wrong way to read a comic. If you got something out of just looking at the art, that's still a valid experience. The whole point is to enjoy it your own way.

@tarac16, what's your favorite comic where the art alone told the whole story?
