I bought a $40 ticket to a con just to get a specific variant cover signed

The line was four hours long, and the artist was so rushed he just scribbled his initials. Felt like a real waste. Anyone else ever feel like the signature hunt isn't worth the hassle?

Four hours for some scribbled initials is brutal. Did you at least get to say anything to the artist, or was it just a factory line? That impersonal vibe is what really kills the fun for me.
