I finally switched from bagging to collecting single issues about 3 years ago after my short boxes got too heavy to move.
Used to go for trade paperbacks all the time since they saved shelf space, but now I prefer the hunt for individual floppies every Wednesday even if my long boxes are taking over the spare room, has anyone else made that jump and regretted the storage cost?

Oh wait, so you actually switched FROM trades TO floppies?? Thats wild lmao. Most people I know go the other way around when they realize how much physical space bags and boards take up. Three years though that's a serious commitment. I bet your postman hates you every Wednesday hauling all those books lol. But the hunt is real, there's nothing like finding a key issue in the dollar bin that you've been chasing for months. Storage costs are brutal though, I had to buy two more short boxes last year and my wife gave me the death stare. Worth it for the adrenaline of pulling a fresh variant cover off the rack though.

Did you try sorting your floppies by artist to save space?
