I visited that big comic con in San Diego and noticed something strange about the fans there

Walked around the convention floor for 3 hours last Saturday and saw a ton of people lined up for signatures from artists they clearly never heard of before. But then I also saw these hardcore collectors who could name every issue that artist drew going back 20 years. Which type of fan is actually having more fun, the ones just hunting for clout or the ones who really care about the work?

Honestly both sound like they're having fun in their own way, and that's what counts.

Yeah "having fun in their own way" is one way to put it lol. One's having a chill jam session and the other's probably reenacting a music video in their bathroom.
