Choosing between a crane and a telehandler for a tight site, went with the telehandler.

We had a 30-foot steel beam to set on a downtown Reno job with maybe 15 feet of clear space. The crane quote was $4,200 for the day, but the telehandler rental was half that and could still reach. It worked, but moving it around the pallets of block was a pain. Anyone have a better method for a cramped material lift?

You saved over two grand but that sounds like a NIGHTMARE to maneuver.

Right? The logistics alone would make my head spin. I can't even picture trying to get that thing down a grocery store aisle without taking out a whole display.
