Had a change of heart about pre-cast concrete panels after a job in Phoenix
I was dead set against them until we had a 4 inch rain delay on a tilt-up job that cost us two days. After seeing a pre-cast crew set 30 panels in one morning without a single weather hold up, I told our project manager to spec them on the next build.

Bet your boots I'd trip mine over too, @spencer_perry77. I swear if they put me on a pre-cast crew I'd probably drop a panel on my own truck before lunch. That Phoenix heat is no joke though. I did a tilt-up there back in July and by 10am the concrete was setting in the chute faster than we could pour it. Pre-cast just takes all that weather headache out of the equation. Your boot tripping comment actually made me laugh because I've got a dent in my hardhat from where I walked into a panel that wasn't even moved yet.

My first tilt-up job in Phoenix we had rebar sticking out of the ground for three days straight in 115 degree heat. Pre-cast sounds like a cheat code compared to that mess. I’d probably still trip over my own boots and knock one over though.
