Spent $60 on a magnetic torpedo level after fighting a steel door frame in a strip mall build for almost an hour with a 4 foot one that kept sliding off. The magnet stuck right to the frame and I had the shims dialed in less than two minutes. Any of you carry a short magnetic level on punch list days, or do you just grab whatever is in the truck?
