I Specified Fiberglass Rebar for a Deck in Spokane and Caught Pushback

Everyone on this board seems to default to epoxy coated steel, but I went with fiberglass rebar on a parking garage deck last summer. The GC told me it was a mistake, but we saved about 18% on material and the corrosion testing came back cleaner than the steel sections. Have any of you actually used GFRP on a project that gets road salt, or is it still too experimental for your specs?
