He walked me through how they cast the panels with custom reveals and even some basic stone texture right in the formwork. He said, 'The trick is in the planning, not just the pour. You can get a real finished look for about 15% more than basic panels if you design it right.' That one walk changed my whole view. Honestly it just depends what you're going for. If it works for what you need it to do and doesn't cause headaches later, that's what matters most. I've seen stuff look great on paper but fall apart in real use.
