PSA: The super on that 5-story job in Denver told me to use self-leveling compound on a sloped floor, and I called him crazy
Three months later, the tile we set is cracking along that slope. I thought self-leveler was for flat slabs only, but he said it would bridge the pitch if we did thin pours. Now I'm looking at a 2,000 square foot redo because I ignored his advice. Anyone else gotten burned by going against the super's gut on a big commercial job?

Are you sure self-leveler was the right product for that slope though?

Yeah but it worked fine for my smaller project.
