The moment I realized I'd been marking layout lines wrong for 10 years
I was setting up a framing layout for a 40 foot steel building last week and the GC walked over and asked why my chalk lines were on the wrong side of the stud markers. Turns out I'd been snapping lines on the face side of my marks instead of the edge side for years. Has anyone else had a basic habit like that completely flipped on them by a random comment?
