The port-a-john at my site in Gary tipped over with the inspector inside
We were wrapping up a 4,000 square foot tenant buildout in Gary last month and the site was a muddy mess from three days of rain. Around 2pm a gust came through and knocked over the port-a-john while the county inspector was still in there. I heard this muffled yelling and a banging sound, and my whole crew just froze. Turns out he was fine, just mad and covered in whatever you'd expect. We got him out in about five minutes with a forklift and a strap, and I handed him a clean shirt from my truck and a bottle of water. He laughed about it later, said it was the strangest inspection he'd done in 20 years. How do you even write that up in a safety report without sounding like a joke?
