Thought prefab electrical risers were cutting corners until the job in Tulsa changed my mind
Three years ago I turned down a 6 story office job in Tulsa because the GC wanted to use prefab risers and I figured that was just cheaper and worse than building them on site. Last week I walked a finished building in Dallas that used the same method, and the electrician showed me the panel schedule with zero rework on 240 circuits, which is not what I saw on the last stick built job. Has anyone else switched sides on prefab after seeing the punch list numbers, or am I just late to this?
