Update: the GC on my Des Moines job let the tile guy grout over an expansion joint and now 40 feet of floor is tenting
Happened Tuesday morning when the building super called me about tiles popping up by the entrance, and now I'm getting three bids to tear out and redo it, so has anyone had luck getting the GC to eat that cost or am I stuck holding it?

Man, I got my GC to pay by sending him the tile maker's install spec showing joints need to stay open.
