Can we talk about the silt cloud problem on the Sacramento River job last month?
We were doing a bridge inspection near Rio Vista and the current kicked up a total zero-vis situation. My partner had to switch to touch contact only and follow the guide rope back to the basket. How do you guys handle a sudden silt-out when you're already on the structure?

Following the "scenic route" sounds great until you're the one trying to find a bridge piling with your face.

I read a safety memo about that, and @michaeljones, the scenic route is no joke when you can't see your hand.
