Chasing a comms fault for 3 days, turned out to be a corroded pin on the main umbilical

We were getting static on the intercom every dive past 80 feet, swapped headsets, checked the comms box, even pulled the whole helmet apart before I finally traced it to a single green pin on our standby umbilical. Anyone else have a gremlin that ate up way more bottom time than it should have? How long did yours take to track down?
