Dive computer battery died at 30 feet near the pilings in Tacoma
Last month I was doing a hull inspection on a tugboat and my Shearwater just went dark around the 30 foot mark. I usually carry a backup but left it in the truck that morning, dumb move. Had to finish the job on buddy air and surface intervals, added an extra hour to the day. Do you guys swap batteries on a set schedule or just wait for the warning? Curious what works for the rest of you.

Ha! I stopped waiting for warnings after mine died mid-deep-stop and I spent 20 minutes wondering if I was gonna bend myself into a pretzel. Now I just replace them on my birthday every year, cheaper than a chamber ride.
