Just wasted $700 on a budget drysuit and it flooded on my second dive

I got this off-brand drysuit from a guy in Houston who swore it was 'commercial grade.' Took it out near Port Fourchon on a pipeline inspection gig, and within 20 minutes my left leg was soaked. The wrist seal just gave up, no tear or anything, it was like the rubber was trash from the start. I patched it up with some aquaseal but the zipper started leaking too on the third job. That's $700 I could have put toward a used suit from a shop that actually tests them. Anyone else get burned by buying gear off Facebook Marketplace and regret skipping the dive shop?
