TIL the hard way that a drysuit zipper lube job can go very wrong at 60 feet

Off the coast of Galveston last month, I greased my zipper with the wrong wax and my suit started whistling like a teapot on the descent, thought I was gonna get squeezed out of my own skin. Now I only use the silicone stick from the dive shop, anyone else have a zipper failure story that made them paranoid?
