Rushing in dangerous conditions never ends well. On a past job with murky water, we had bosses pushing for faster work. I made the crew record every safety stop and slowdown due to poor sight. Showing them the actual count of near misses got management to listen. Hard numbers work better than just arguing about the risks. Hopefully your team can use a similar approach to cut the reckless speed.
