Appreciation post: the guy who always stands right in front of the train doors at 8:15 AM

This dude at the 14th Street station plants himself dead center of the doors every single morning, making everyone else squeeze around him to get on or off. I watched three people almost trip over each other yesterday because he wouldn't move an inch. How hard is it to just step to the side for ten seconds?

Depends on what you mean by big deal. See this all the time where people let small things slide, like being late or a bad attitude. Those small choices add up and become the standard, then everyone wonders why the whole situation is messed up later.
