Can we talk about how I wasted $60 on a fancy transit pass last month?

I bought a $60 weekly pass for the light rail in Phoenix, but the train kept breaking down and I ended up driving half the time. Has anyone else dumped money on a pass that didn't pay off?

Ugh, that "train kept breaking down" part hits so close to home. I bought a monthly pass for the bus system here last year, thinking I'd be all responsible. The buses were either crazy early or just never showed up half the time. I probably used it like ten days total, such a total waste of money. Felt like I was just donating cash to the transit authority for no reason. Makes you scared to ever try buying a pass again.

Yeah, that feeling of wasted money is the worst. I once bought a year-long gym membership on a New Year's deal, went maybe five times.
