My coworker said the 7:15 bus is always empty, but it was packed this morning
She swore by it for a year, so I tried it and had to stand the whole way from Maple Street to downtown. Has anyone else noticed the morning routes getting busier lately?

That exact thing happened to me on the 7:10 from Oak Park last Thursday. I ended up squeezed next to someone's backpack for twenty minutes. It used to be so reliable for a seat. Now I see a lot more people with lunch bags and new faces. I wonder if more offices are making people come in on the same days.

Hey @claireo67, did you see that article in the Tribune last week? It said a bunch of downtown companies are now pushing for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in-office, which would explain the packed trains on those days. They quoted a manager who said it's about "team building" but it just means everyone gets squished on the same commute.
