Neighbor told me to stand on the train platform further down
Old guy at Union Station said to walk to the far end of the platform to get a less crowded car. Tried it last week and got a seat every time on the 8:15 express.

Ha, "walk to the far end of the platform" - I do that too but for the opposite reason. I go to the front so I can get off first at my stop and beat the crowd up the stairs.

Front of the train is a power move, no doubt. You're basically playing public transport chess while everyone else is stuck in the middle. Do you ever miss your stop when you're too focused on being first off?
