Rant: that $38 folding bike seat post saved my 6am commute in Seattle when my regular ride gave out
My bike frame cracked last Tuesday at 6am and the only spare part the shop had was a folding seat post I didn't even know I needed, but now I'm wondering if anyone else has a backup plan for a sudden breakdown on the way to work.
