Started biking to the train station instead of driving. Game changer.

I used to drive 10 minutes to the Park Street lot, pay $8, and sit in traffic to get out. I tried biking the 2 miles to the station last week because my car was in the shop. It saves me $40 a week and I get to skip the lot traffic completely. Has anyone else found a weird shortcut that actually works better than you expected?

Bought a $20 rain poncho that makes me look like a human trash bag, but hey, at least I'm a dry human trash bag with $40 extra in my pocket.

Show me in 6 months when you're soaked through from rain or sweating through your dress shirt before a meeting. That $40 a week doesn't look so good when you're showing up to work looking like a mess.
