The 7:15 bus used to be packed with the same faces every morning

Last week, I got a seat right away and didn't recognize a single person... feels like the whole routine shifted when the new office park opened 3 years ago. Anyone else notice their regular crowd just vanish?

Man, that's wild. My old coffee shop had the same vibe for years, like a whole morning crew. Then they put in that new apartment complex down the block and poof, half the regulars were gone within a month. It's weird how one new building can totally scatter a whole group of people who never even talked to each other. Kinda makes the whole morning feel different, almost lonely in a way. You don't realize how much you notice those familiar faces until they're just not there anymore.

Totally get that. Start saying hi to the new people, even just a quick nod. Ask the barista if they've seen certain regulars, sometimes they know where folks moved. It sounds small, but it rebuilds that background hum of community. You might even find a couple of them just shifted to coming in a half-hour later.
