The bus driver told me to stop standing in the back doorway and now I'm split on the rule

My daily bus driver in Portland yelled 'move forward or you're walking' last week and I changed my habit, but honestly I get why people hang back when the bus is packed. Does enforcing that actually speed things up or just make riders more annoyed for no real gain? Curious if anyone else got called out and changed their routine.

Is it really that deep though? People act like they're getting fined for standing in the wrong spot, not just asked to move lol. I get the annoyance, but the driver's just trying to keep the route moving, not start a whole thing.

holy crap wait you actually just stood there and watched the driver try to reason with someone for five minutes @shane244? lmao i wouldve been losing my mind in the back. like i get the whole "its not a big deal" thing but the driver is literally just trying to do their job without getting screamed at.
