The old paper maps in the bus shelters were better than the digital screens
I tried reading one of those new electronic boards at the 5th and Main stop yesterday and the glare was so bad I just guessed when the 42 was coming. The old paper schedules tucked behind plexiglass never had that problem, and you could trace the route with your finger. Anyone else miss those things?

Right, because staring at a sunbeam while trying to decode a bus schedule is peak public transit tech lol. Nothing says "helpful" like a screen that doubles as a mirror.

Yeah, the glare thing is real. I started just taking a quick photo of the schedule with my phone on those bright days, works way better than squinting. Keeps me from missing the bus while I'm standing there like an idiot.
