Used to think the express bus was a waste of $4.50 until I timed my trips for a week
I always took the local 21 because it was cheaper and I figured the express was just for people in a hurry. Then my car died in February and I started writing down my actual door to door times on a notepad. The local took 52 minutes with all the stops near the hospital, and the express got me there in 29 even with the walk to the park and ride. I still miss the old route because it dropped me right by my office, but saving almost 25 minutes a day adds up. Anyone else do the math on express versus local, or do you just pay for whatever is closest?
