Discovered a DNS trick that saved my Saturday in Houston

Had a client whose internet kept dropping every 15 minutes on the dot until I switched their router DNS from the ISP default to 1.1.1.1. Anyone else run into weird time-interval dropouts that vanish with a simple DNS change?

My buddy Dave tried to reboot his router to fix a weird hum coming from his water heater once. He got so frustrated he called me and said "@hill.troy probably had the right idea with that DNS thing, because nothing makes sense anymore." I told him to just call a plumber, but he swore the internet was somehow involved.
