Hit 1000 motherboard repairs and it got me thinking

I passed 1000 motherboard level repairs this past Tuesday on a old Dell Optiplex from 2012. The cap blew right next to the CPU socket and I swapped it in 15 minutes. Never thought I'd keep count when I started fixing these things out of my garage 4 years ago. Has anyone else hit a weird milestone that just surprised you?

Keep some quality flux on hand, those old Optiplex boards love to soak up heat from the iron.

Had a buddy wreck three caps on an old Optiplex trying to save time without flux, (you know, the cheap kind) and @ray324 is totally right - that paste is a lifesaver for those heat-hungry boards.

15 minutes on a 2012 Optiplex cap swap, that's clean work. Hitting 1000 is wild, makes you realize how many machines got a second life thanks to guys like you.
