Hit 500 house calls this year and the last one was a raccoon in a server room

I do on-site computer repairs for small businesses around Tacoma. Yesterday was call number 500 for 2025, and it was a bakery where the POS system kept dropping offline. Turned out a raccoon had chewed through the ethernet cable behind the walk-in freezer, and it had dragged half the line into its nest under the loading dock. I've seen coffee spills, dead mice, and one router held together with duct tape, but this is the first time I had to tell a client they owed me $180 plus a wildlife removal referral. Anyone else hit a milestone call that turned into something absurd? I need to know I'm not alone on this one.

My 47th call this year was a dentist office where the "network issue" turned out to be a squirrel that had chewed through the fiber line in the ceiling and then fell into a filing cabinet and died. The smell was something else, and I charged them double for the biohazard cleanup. Raccoons are honestly a step up, at least they have personality. 500 calls though, man, you're either really good or really unlucky, and I'm leaning toward unlucky.
