My friend swore by Arctic Silver for years, so I never tried anything else... ended up with a half-dried tube during a late night rebuild last month. Grabbed a $7 generic from the local shop out of pure desperation and honestly it worked perfectly. Now I keep two backups in my drawer just in case.
