Question about a client's keyboard after a cat incident

Walked into a home office call last week to see a keyboard that looked like a modern art piece, covered in a solid layer of cat hair and what I think was dried gravy. The client said it 'just stopped working'. After a full teardown and clean with isopropyl, it looked brand new and worked perfectly. What's the grossest thing you've had to clean out of a machine to get it working again?

Ever think maybe the gravy was a protective coating, lol?

Used to think gravy was just there for drowning your turkey in, but honestly this flipped my whole view on it. @torres.leo sounds like he could have used that theory before his shield went down though. Maybe we've all been underestimating the true power of a good gravy barrier.

My gravy shield failed. Still got burned.
