Still keep a compact power strip and a tangle of adapters in my glovebox. You never know when you'll run into a desk layout that makes reaching an outlet impossible. Saves a lot of crawling around on the floor.

Bought a short three outlet extension cord with a right angle plug a few years back and it is still in my bag. Solves the weird desk setups where the outlet is behind a file cabinet or under a metal lip. Also stops the awkward moment when a brick style charger blocks the other socket. Just tuck it behind the desk and forget about it until you need it. Way less bulky than wrestling with a power strip and adapter pile.
