Watched a new hire at our shop try to force a CPU cooler bracket for 20 minutes
He was using way too much pressure on a socket AM4 mount, and I could hear the motherboard creak from my bench. I walked over and showed him the simple quarter-turn needed to align the hooks, which he'd missed in the manual. How do you guys handle training on basic hardware assembly without seeming like a jerk?

My buddy Dave saw a new guy try to seat RAM with the clips open for a solid ten minutes. He just slid over and quietly pointed at the locking arms.

Reminds me of my friend who spent ages trying to plug in a power cable behind his PC. He didn't realize you have to push the clip on the connector first, like @anderson.gavin said about the RAM arms. He was just forcing it against the port, getting so mad. Finally saw the little plastic tab and felt like a total genius for figuring it out.

Nah, I gotta say if you can't figure out the basics maybe PCs aren't for you, @finley_craig53.
