Finally tried a power trowel after 12 years of hand finishing

I've always been the guy who says hand finishing gives you more control, especially on driveways in Tucson where the sun bakes everything fast. Last month we had a 3,000 square foot warehouse slab and the crew was falling behind, so my foreman handed me the power trowel and said 'just keep it flat, don't overthink it.' Took me about 20 minutes to stop fighting it and honestly the surface came out way flatter than what I do by hand, no re-troweled spots or high edges. Has anyone else had that moment where you realize the tool you avoided for years is actually the better call for big pours?
